Due to circumstances beyond our control, the committee have made the decision to postpone Gardens Club Day until:
Saturday 14th October 2023 the reason for this decision is due to the road closure as detailed below:
11 pm Friday 29th September to 6 am Monday 2 October
A3 both directions: B2215 (Ripley) to M25 junction 10 – FULL CLOSURE
Diversion via A247, A246, A24 and M25 junction 9.
The diversion routes are designed to suit all vehicle types, it is advised not to use a Satnav when following the diversion because there is a risk it could direct you down an unsuitable road or back onto the network when it is closed.
There will be no access to the Gardens via Wisley Lane, A3 end as the slip road will be closed.
The above diversion will add significant travel time to anyone travelling to Wisley, access will only be via Wisley Lane from Pyrford end, the bridge at the Anchor has a width restriction which shouldn’t cause problems for cars but it will only take one large vehicle to block the lane and cause havoc.
It would be appreciated if you could let us know if you are intending to attend on 14th October, for catering purposes, also a detailed itinerary will be sent out prior to the 14th October to those who have responded.
