Saturday 1st June 2024 – West Dean Gardens, West Dean, Chichester, West Sussex, PO18 0RX
Nestled at the foot of the South Downs, West Dean Gardens is one of the greatest restored gardens open to the public today. Visitors can explore a wide range of historic features, including an impressive collection of working Victorian Glasshouses and the 300’ Edwardian pergola.
Catering facilities available are The West Dean Gardens Restaurant and The Gardener’s Tea House, contactless payments only.
Wheelchair accessible.
Cost:
Coach leaving Wisley at 9.00 AM – £25 per person, payable in advance.
Entry fee to the Garden – £13.00 (£14.30 gift aid) payable at the entrance, contactless payments only.
Tom Brown, Head Gardener will give a guided walk at 11.00 am.
Coach will depart West Dean at 3.30 pm.
Saturday 12th October 2024 – RHS Gardens Club Day and AGM
Meet and Greet at the RHS Hilltop Education Rooms from 10.00 am.
Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided. Please bring your own lunch or purchase from the many outlets within the Garden. A detailed Itinerary will be available nearer the time but will include the AGM before lunch.
Saturday 9th November 2024 – Sir Harold Hillier Garden, Ampfield, Nr. Romsey, Hampshire, SO51 0QA.
A 180 acre garden and arboretum accommodating over 42,000 trees and shrubs, including collections of Oak, Camellia, Magnolia and Rhododendron producing spectacular autumn colour. Wheelchair accessible.
Catering facilities include The Courtyard Café, the Garden Restaurant and Tea Rooms.
David Jewell, Curator, will give a guided walk at 11.00 am.
Cost:
Coach will depart from Wisley at 9.00 am – £25 per person payable in advance.
Entry fee: David has kindly arranged for the entry fee to be free on the proviso that we use the catering facilities. Anyone not wanting to us the catering facilities Entry will cost £12.50 payable on arrival, contactless payments only.
Coach will depart Sir Harold Hillier Garden at 3.00 pm
