RHS Garden Club Day and AGM
Saturday 6th September 2025

 Venue: Education Rooms, RHS Hill Top, Wisley Garden

ITINERARY

Meet and Greet at the RHS Hilltop Education Rooms from 9.30 am.

Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided.

Please bring your own lunch or purchase from the many outlets within the Garden. A detailed Itinerary will be available nearer the time but will include the AGM before lunch.

Wisley Flower Show is on, please allow plenty of time to arrive.

 

No charge for this event, however it would be helpful if you could let us know if you are intending to come along (for catering purposes).

Saturday 26th July 2025 – Yoakley House Garden, 3 Drapers Close, Margate, CT9 4AH

Yoakley House Garden is 2.5 acres founded by Michael Yoakley in 1709. Paul Twyman the Head Gardener is an ex-Wisley student, has taken The Garden back to the drawing board and redesigned it over the past 11 years. from researching Quaker Gardens of the time Michael Yoakley founded the garden. The Garden contains, Trees, shrubs Perennial Boarders, Roses, a Laburnum Arch, Summer Bedding, Quaker Garden and QE11 Memorial Garden.

Paul will give a guided tour at 11.00 AM followed by time to explore the garden at leisure. Refreshments will be available. 

Cost:  Coach £30 per person 

Depart Wisley at 8.30 AM 
Arrive Yoakley House 10.30 AM (depending on traffic) 

Depart Yoakley House at 1.00 pm for the short drive to Margate, drop off at Turner Contemporary Gallery where there will be free time to enjoy lunch and time in Margate. 

Depart Margate 3.30 PM, pick up will be at Turner Contemporary Gallery

Arrive Wisley 5.30 PM (depending on traffic)
