Connecting RHS employees, students and volunteers since 1908
Students in RHS Gardens
Every year the RHS run horticultural training courses which give students an opportunity to work in the RHS Gardens whilst continuing their studies. Since 1907 thousands of young people have benefitted from this training and moved onto fulfilling careers, in all aspects of horticulture, all over the world. Many RHS students join the RHS Gardens Club to keep in touch with their friends at the RHS and each other once they have left and student reunions are often a highlight of Gardens Club Day for members.

Prizes
RHS students have the opportunity to gain prizes during their time with the RHS, and the RHS Gardens Club is proud to be able to contribute to this tradition.
Study tours
Each year RHS students usually plan a study trip to allow them to visit gardens and places of horticultural interest within the UK and also abroad. The RHS Gardens Club has often been able to help with funding for these expeditions.
