Clear Lake (old trials field, Portsmouth field). This is a man-made lake, will collect and store rainwater from the Hilltop development and then reuse it for irrigation around the Battleston Hill area mainly. The lake is 2m deep, and has a capacity of 9 million litres of water.
The average water butt is 210litres. When the lake is full it would equate to 42,857 water butts of saved rainwater.
